The first time I can remember seeing Nic Cage was on an HBO repeat of PEGGY SUE GOT MARRIED. I might have been 6 years old, but I was kind of fascinated by that movie largely because I was a nerd and there was time travel and Peggy Sue at one point, if I remember correctly, invents the microwave.

Update: The YouTube comments were, surprisingly, informative, with user “BlamingTim” chiming in to tell us that the movie is Hard Ticket to Hawaii. I’m going to try and track it down (for science). More later…

GOD DAMN, this is amazing. The rapping isn’t all great, but it’s certainly ambitious. That is, the entirety of ROBOCOP spit into verse, using actual dialog from the movie, isn’t something I’d have ever anticipated seeing, nor is it something I’d expect to enjoy. Yet, I did! Immensely.
